For 17 years, Youth Leadership Authority has had a positive impact on Southern Nevada youth. 82% of our program graduates go on to college and 42% move into careers in the military, fire, police or first responders.
On the weekend of Oct. 24th & 25th we launched our A Safe Place to Land: The Retreat program. A 2-Day action-packed event attended by young future leaders who participated in Leadership, Physical, Professional, Personal and Spiritual development.
There were sweat, tears, insight, awakenings and confidence emitting from each participant, facilitator and volunteer! Each participant persevered through all the physical challenges, while showing courage and vulnerability through sharing their testimonies. As well as, over coming challenges as a team by showcasing ethical problem solving methods through the understanding of interdependence.
