Our Southern Nevada Devil Pups (SNDP) just departed for Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton!
For the 20th year, the Southern Nevada Devil Pups are all checked into their new homes for the next ten days at Camp Talega, Marine Corps Base for the Devil Pups encampment!
Fun Fact: Camp Talega is where Heartbreak Ridge, featuring Clint Eastwood, was filmed!
The Devil Pups are prepared and ready to take on this challenge! They are looking forward to the Devil Pups encampment coin ceremony, which takes place on day 8 of 10, on top of a 3,600-foot mountain called Ole’ Smokey, overlooking the Pacific Ocean at sunset. It will be highly emotional, patriotic, and inspirational! It is a time when the Pups are acknowledged and celebrated by their Marine Instructors. There won’t be a dry eye in the house.
Come on, Southern Nevada! Let’s get excited for them and show our support!
