The Conversation

(Program Fee: $250.00 / participant / conversation)
Partial Scholarships may be available.
Is a three-part conversational piece between YLA leaders, community leaders, parents, and teens. In this conversation, teens and parents are able speak freely regarding their feelings, obstacles, fears during COVID-19. Community leaders and YLA Facilitators offer up their leadership tools and how to create and practice positive solutions.

The Constitution

(Program Fee: $500.00)
5 hours of facilitated teachings on The United States Constitution; instructed by a few constitutional attorneys and YLA Board members. This class is to familiarize students on the Bill of Rights, their definitions, and usages. At the end all participants take the emotional constitutional oath!

YLA - The Retreat

The Retreat

(Program Fee: $1300)
16 hours of facilitated personal, professional, physical, and spiritual training!  All training provided by military instructors, YLA facilitators, Henderson Fire Department is aimed with the WHOLE PERSON APPROACH to inspire and promote confidence and knowledge in teens.

The Challenge

(Program Fee: $800.00)
This Program is held on 7 consecutive Saturday, 6-8 hours each day. Each day is led by YLA’s Marine Instructors, personal development, professional, physical, and spiritual training!  All training provided by military instructors, YLA facilitators, Henderson Fire Department is aimed with the WHOLE PERSON APPROACH to inspire and promote confidence and knowledge in teens.
