Meet Roman Kokowsky, a former YLA/SNDP Graduate and now a United States Naval Officer!

Roman Kokowsky, a former YLA/SNDP Graduate who was involved with all of our programs, took his oath as an Ensign in the US Navy, and graduated from Summa Cum Laude from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. 

In addition to this OUTSTANDING accomplishment, he was awarded the 1st-Honor Graduate Class of 2021, and the Robert G. Miller Memorial Sword! 

The Robert G. Miller Memorial sword is awarded to those who have excelled in a Navy Battalion leadership position, devoted their life to public service and is in the top 25% of their graduating class. This is an incredible honor and we are so proud of this young man! 

Roman Kokowsky was heavily involved with Youth Leadership Authority as he took part in these programs: 

-YLA 12-Week Physical Training Leadership Program 
-Community Service Program 
-Devil Pups 10-Day Leadership Encampment 
-YLA/SNDP Eagle Program 
-Rapport Leadership International 
YLA also helped Roman Kokowsky obtain an Internship in which he served with Congressman Joe Heck!
